Maybe a thunderstorm rolled through Wake County this afternoon and now there's standing water in your hallway. Maybe the supply line behind the dishwasher let go while you were at work. Maybe your crawlspace smells like a pond after the last system dropped three inches of rain over Crabtree Creek. Whatever brought you here, the clock is already running, and we can be on the way before the drywall starts to wick. Call us at 877-371-7873 and we'll get a technician moving toward you.

When you need water mitigation

Raleigh homes get hit from a lot of angles. Tropical systems coming up from the coast. The late-summer storms that stall over the Piedmont. The hard freezes we've started getting in January that pop copper lines in unconditioned crawlspaces. They all end the same way, with water somewhere it shouldn't be.

Don't wait it out. Drywall starts wicking moisture within the first hour, hardwoods can cup overnight, and mold (which we deal with constantly in this humidity) starts colonizing wet materials in a day or two. If you're seeing pooled water, soaked baseboards, a sagging ceiling tile, peeling paint near a tub, or that musty smell coming up through the floor vents, that's the moment to pick up the phone. Sewage backups from overwhelmed storm drains around Five Points or Oakwood need same-hour response, because the water is contaminated.

Our water mitigation process

When you call, we ask a few quick questions so the truck shows up with the right gear. Sometimes that's extractors and air movers. For a flooded crawlspace it's a submersible pump first. On arrival we find the source (no point drying a room while a fitting is still leaking), shut it down, and start pulling water.

After extraction, we set commercial dehumidifiers sized to your square footage and the humidity load, then place air movers to keep airflow over wet surfaces. Saturated materials that aren't going to recover come out. Moisture meters and thermal imaging tell us what's actually drying and what isn't, because guessing in this climate is how mold problems start.

Most jobs hit dry standard in three to five days. We document moisture readings daily so your insurance carrier has what it needs.

Water mitigation cost in Raleigh

Pricing depends on a handful of real factors. How much square footage got wet. How deep the water sat and how long before extraction started. The category of water (a clean supply line is very different from a sewage backup). The materials involved. A small kitchen leak caught quickly looks nothing like a flooded basement in a North Hills walkout.

You'll get an upfront quote before we start work, not an estimate that drifts upward as the job goes on. No surprise line items, no hidden equipment fees. We work directly with most insurance carriers in North Carolina and can bill them when your claim is approved, so out-of-pocket stays predictable.

Why choose Pure Air North Carolina

We're based here. Our crews know the difference between a Hayes Barton crawlspace and a newer slab build out by Brier Creek, and we know which neighborhoods sit nervously when the Neuse gets pushed up by a tropical system. That kind of local knowledge means we diagnose faster and waste less of your time mid-job.

Same-day response across Raleigh, Cary, Apex, Wake Forest, Garner, and most of the surrounding Triangle. Our technicians are IICRC trained, we bill insurance directly, and every job is backed by a satisfaction guarantee. If something isn't right, we come back and make it right.

If you've got water in the house right now, please don't sit on it. Call 877-371-7873 and we'll dispatch a technician to your address. The faster extraction starts, the less of your home we have to rebuild later.
